Booking Terms & conditions

Thank you for booking with The Mulberry Tree. May we bring our booking terms & Conditions to your attention.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Cancellation. Our deadline for cancellations without charge is 2pm on the day prior to arrival - whatever the reason. We advise guests to check their travel insurance if there is a possibility of there trip being cancelled or postponed. For larger groups our cancellation policy may be different, we will confirm this in writing. In the event of a disputed no show we would ask for proof of cancellation in the form of cancellation reference given to every guest when canceling rooms &/or confirmation in the form of fax or letter, before waiving normal charges.

Early departures . The deadline for letting us know about an earlier than expected departure and avoiding cancellation charges is 2pm on the day prior to actual checkout.

Check in. Guests rooms are available for check in after 3pm. Please note that there is no service available after 11.00pm therefore you will be unable to check in after this time and will be assumed a no show.

Check out . Rooms must be vacated by 11am.

Registration. You will be required by British law to provide us with your home address for guest registration purposes. If you are a non EU National we may ask to see your passport. For all guests we reserve the right to ask you to confirm your identity with a driver's license or other form of photographic ID. By signing the registration form you are agreeing to the room type, rate and booking terms and conditions.

No Smoking . All our bedrooms, corridors & Restaurant are strictly non smoking. Smoking is allowed in our bar during its usual opening times. Please note that if on departure we discover that you or your partner have smoked in your room we reserve the right to charge you up to 1 night's accommodation to compensate for loss of business whilst the room is unable to be used due to airing or specialist cleaning.

Dinner reservations . Our restaurant is very popular particularly at weekends. It is our policy not to hold back tables specifically for residents. We therefore advise booking your tables as far in advance as possible to secure a table.

Bar . Our bar is open until 11pm. We do not keep the bar open later for residents. Our bar area is strictly for over 18's.

Minors. We welcome guests with minors but our hotel may not be suitable for families wishing to spend a great deal of time in the hotel as there is no lounge area for children and the bar is strictly over 18's. Our restaurant is suitable for well behaved children but we ask they remain seated and supervised at all times.

Non residents. For fire safety reasons and out of respect to our other guests we do not allow non registered guests to enter hotel bedrooms without prior permission from the Duty.

Code of conduct. The Mulberry Tree is a small Family run hotel. We place great emphasis on providing a safe, friendly, pleasurable environment for guests and staff alike. Therefore we will ask any guest who is abusive, threatening, or offensive to leave the hotel immediately and they will incur early departure charges relevant. Other reasons for eviction may include foul language, drunken behavior, use of banned substances and theft.

Damages & Theft. We reserve the right to invoice guests for any damages , accidental or otherwise to our premises. Any items of hotel property removed unlawfully from the bedrooms or elsewhere will be invoiced and the police will be contacted.

Hotel Keys. A charge will be made for any lost or stolen keys.
